Swedish Massage - Also known as Classic Massage – Is effective in reducing pain and joint stiffness, increases circulation, reduces anxiety and depression. Medical researches have shown that by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, which stimulate the release of endorphins and serotonin, massage helps to prevent fibrosis or scar tissue, increases the flow of lymph supporting the body to release stress and toxins out, helping also to improve sleep.
Purépecha Massage – Is the Purepecha’s Mexican indigenous massage (matriarchal tradition from Michoacán), also known as Traditional Mayan massage that works with body’s energies to lend vitality. When focused on women’s health, this technique supports the balance of hormones, emotions and prepares the body to conceive. Also, it is extremely effective after giving birth as it enhances the body to naturally regenerate. This massage aligns reproductive organs to relieve cramping and painful periods. By adjusting the abdominal organs, it facilitates digestion, ease gastritis, colitis and support the abdominal organs to eliminate metabolic waste. It also balances conditions such fibroids, prolapsed uterus and ovarian cysts.
Reiki – Is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Be prepared to receive a gift from the Universal Life Energy. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. It is also beneficial to destroy energy blockages, detoxify the system, provide new vitality and to increase the vibrational frequency of the body.
Jin Shin Jyutsu – Is a Traditional Eastern Healing Art of harmonizing life energy within the body. It involves the application of the hands to invite the body to harmonize its energy flow. Our bodies contain several energy pathways that feed life into all of our cells. When one or more of these paths become blocked, this damming effect may lead to discomfort or even pain. This blockage or stagnation will not only disrupt the local area but will continue and eventually disharmonize the paths of the energy flow. In comparison to acupressure there is significantly less emphasis on using physical pressure and more on adjusting the energy along the meridians. This is especially helpful for empowering the patient to perform self-care during rehabilitation, pregnancy and boost immunity.
