Michelle Campbell

Clinical Counsellor

My Story

The early years of my work with families and children began with just that in the arena of the Early years of a child’s life. Realizing that children do not have the capacity to change the reality of their lives, I embarked on a journey supporting families, caregivers and individuals who are seeking to find their way as they grow in the knowledge of who they are and the great potential that lies before them.

As I companion with individuals through life’s challenging experiences my role is to walk with them as they navigate the journey. My personal beliefs regarding working with individuals include, empathy and the well being of my client through collaboration of the counseling experience. The client is the expert on their life and family. Spirituality, attachment, trauma, community, and playful experiences are foundational to the work I have done.

I am a lifelong learner with a background in early childhood and social work, I am currently completing my master’s degree in counselling psychology.

Supporting individuals with their parenting capacity, mental health, grief and loss, personal relationships from a strength-based approach to working through trauma, attachment, anxiety, and child development are just a few ways I have worked with individuals.

We are not meant to be alone and isolated we all have a need for connection. If this resonates with you reach out and let’s begin in a safe way to navigate those valleys and walk together up the hills you are facing.
