About Me

Hello, I am Jenn Campbell. I am a Psychotherapist, speaker, lifelong learner and creator of Mountain Valley Wellness.

I am passionate about helping people find people find healing and wholeness with whatever they may be struggling with. Often times I hear people say that their circumstances feels like a mountain they cannot climb, the road they are on seems impassible or the journey seems too daunting. This reminded me of an ancient text that says:

"Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth."

This is the heart and passion behind what I do. My hope is to journey with you so that you can conquer that mountain, traverse the impossible trail, and find healing and wholeness on your journey. I specialize in self-discovery, purpose and identity, life transition, boundaries, self-esteem, depression and anxiety.

Education & Theoretical Orientation:

I received my Master of Art in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor – Qualifying ( CCC-Q).

I take a holistic approach to counselling. I believe that we as humans are made up of three distinct yet intimately connected parts: SPIRIT, SOUL, and BODY. As these parts are deeply connected if one part of us hurts the other parts of us can hurt as well.

As I focus on the whole person of who we are, my counselling style is a bit eclectic so that I can tailor the counselling journey to fit your needs and your situation. The therapeutic methods I commonly use are Client -Focused, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mind-Body connection.

I was born and raised at the foot of the Canadian Rockies in Calgary, Alberta. I spend most of my free time with my family and my Labradoodle Charlee. When I am not with my family, you can find me somewhere quiet with my nose in a book or tending to my indoor house plant collection.

My passion for therapy comes from my own healing journey in discovering who I am, and what my purpose is, but also healing from past relationships and experiences, that have shaped me into who I am today.

You do not need to walk this journey alone. I would love to provide the support you need and to help you overcome those obstacles that may be preventing you from living a life full of abundance, joy and peace.

Much Gratitude,

Jennifer
